The Alzheimer's Resource Center is a local, independent, non-profit organization. It is not affiliated of any national or state organization, including the national Alzheimer's Association. It has to raise its own funds. The amount of money raised determines the programs and services offered. All of the money raised stays in our local service area to help local families.
The Alzheimer's Resource Center provides educational materials and support groups for families, caregivers and victims of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia at no charge.
The Alzheimer's Resource Center is the one central location where families can go for help after a loved one has received a diagnosis of Alzheimer's. The office is run by one full-time staff member and many wonderful, dedicated volunteers. We are a mission-oriented organization dedicated to helping families.
